I don’t know about you but doesn’t it seem like time flies by faster and faster as you get older? I blink and my kids are crawling… then I blink again and they are walking and talking… and then out of the blue, my little Elsie is off to kindergarten this coming year! Seriously I wish time would slow down because I just don’t want to miss a moment of my babies as they grow! That’s why I absolutely love capturing baby’s milestone photos because I’m so passionate about savoring and remembering each stage, phase, and moment as they grow up so fast.
My favorite baby milestone stages are 3-4 months when they can finally hold up their little heads and give you the most adorable smiles and coos. At 6 to 7 months, I absolutely love sitter sessions when little ones can finally sit up on their own but are still so tiny and full of rolls, and then those 12 month sessions when they can stand up on their own or smash that birthday cake all over their face!
Many of my winter milestone photo sessions take place in my studio in Lafayette, Indiana but I will admit that some of my favorite milestones from this past year were in dreamy wildflower fields in West Lafayette!
