Sweet Aiden’s first birthday was in April when our studio was shutdown due to Covid-19, but once we reopened in May and made sure to take all the safety precautions, we had the cutest little cake smash for him!

Aiden’s simple and minimalist cake smash design revolved around grays and creams with a gray ombre cake here at our Lafayette, Indiana studio.

It has been the biggest honor and privilege to journey with Miss Hallie through her first year of life! I photographed her momma’s snowy maternity photos last January and then I had the privilege to photograph her Fresh 48 session hours after her birth and newborn and milestone sessions this past year! This family is seriously the best… so much warmth, love, and joy!

Isabelle’s 1st birthday cake smash pulled together perfectly, as we envisioned a minimalist design with simple fall floral accents and deep jeweled burgundies. Her cake smash photography session was held in my downtown studio in Lafayette, Indiana.

Cake smashes have got to be some of the most fun sessions I do! Virginia’s was no exception, although she wasn’t so sure of the sweet taste after she dug into her cake, and that’s what made for the best pictures! After a little time warming up though, she was covered head to toe in frosting and her expressions are priceless!

Stella’s 1st Birthday Cake Smash

Cake Smash

This simple first birthday smash cake session with blush pinks, golds, gigantic balloons, peonies and tutus was the most fun and perfect way for Stella and her family to celebrate this important milestone. We laughed and had the best time in the studio here in Lafayette, Indiana as Stella delicately “picked” at her cake. Happy birthday sweet girl!
