A First Birthday Cake Smash
Can you believe how fast a year went by since your little one was born? Some days (and nights!) seem to drag on, but overall, you feel like you blinked and your baby is almost ONE! This is truly a milestone to celebrate and remember. What better way to do that than with absolutely hilariously fun cake smash photos!
A custom cake smash session is just that, completely custom designed and executed. You send me ideas or if you'd like a few suggestions, I send you ideas and once we have agreed on a theme and design, I will order the cake, decorations, and have everything ready for you when you arrive for amazing cake smash photos. All you need to do is show up with your little one and loved ones and be ready to have some fun!

Q: How do we design it?
A: I'll help with everything. If you have an idea, send me a picture! I'll get the cake, decorations, and everything needed for the design. I even have outfits to choose from!
Q: Can I bring my own cake?
A: For design continuity between our sessions, the cake will be made from one of our preferred bakeries in town. Feel free to bring cake/cupcakes for your family to share afterwards! We have a table and chairs in our lounge area that you are free to use.
Q: WHAT IF he/she WON'T eat it?
A: Babies who have not tried cake or sweets before are not typically going to enjoy it during the session. So, we recommend letting your little one try a piece of cake or a cupcake a few times before the session so that they are more accustomed to the taste. Even let them play with some squishy foods to get used to the texture in their hands as well.
Q: What about allergies?
A: I can certainly accommodate cake orders for children with allergies. Please share details of the specific allergies when booking the session. Dairy, soy, and nut allergies and vegan cake options are no problem!
Q: What time of day is best?
A: For a happy baby, make sure to schedule your cake smash session right after baby's nap.
Q: CAN WE take family photos?
A: Of course! We'll snap some photos of your family altogether during the session.
Step 1: Let's Chat
Let me know you're interested! Within 24 hours, I'll reach out for a quick, low-key chat to make sure all your questions are answered. If we're a good fit, I'll send over a booking proposal. Can't wait to hear from you!
Step 2: Book it
Ready to book? Just review the booking proposal, sign the contract, & submit the booking fee to reserve your spot on my calendar. My schedule can fill up months in advance so don't wait!
Step 3: Planning
Together, we’ll plan out the location and logistics. I'll send a client questionnaire to get to know you better. Need help with outfits? Use my styling guide or client closet. Thinking about wall art? Use my product guide to decide.
Step 4: Your Session
At your session, I do the heavy lifting. Your job? Have fun and do what you do best: love on your family! With prompts & poses, I'll direct you into authentic moments of love and connection. Together, we'll make beautiful family photos!
Step 5: Reveal
A week later, we'll meet up to view your photos, select your favorites, and choose a collection & heirloom photo products. Download your digital images another week later! Albums, wall art, & canvases are delivered in 4-6 weeks.
