A: The family session booking fee is $199, which covers your session, editing, and the in-person reveal appointment. We do a lot of planning together before your session day — outfit guidance, location, timing — so you're fully prepared before we ever meet. Digital images, prints, and heirloom products are purchased separately at your reveal. I share the full investment guide after we connect so you have everything you need before deciding.

A: I shoot at locations across Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, and the surrounding Triad area. Favorites include Revolution Mill, Dogwood Farms, downtown Greensboro, and more! We'll choose together based on your family's style and the season. Also, studio sessions are also available year-round at Revolution Mill in Greensboro.

A: You'll receive a styling guide before your session, and you're welcome to browse my client closet too. In general, coordinated soft neutrals and earthy tones photograph beautifully. We'll plan this together — no stress required. I typically spend a lot of time with my clients to ensure they feel great and look great in their family photos. 

A: This is the number-one worry — and it almost never goes the way parents fear. I use prompts, movement, and a well-tested bag of tricks that gets real laughs and cooperation from even the most uncooperative kids. The goal isn't perfect poses; it's real moments. Chaos and wiggles are welcome. Energy is something I can totally work with!

A: Golden hour (the hour before sunset) produces the most beautiful, soft, warm light — and when kids are outside moving around, they almost always surprise their parents. That said, if you have very young toddlers, we can talk through timing during planning. But it's almost always worth staying up for it! 

A: I'll watch the forecast closely and reach out the day before if it looks questionable. We can always reschedule — you deserve the session you envisioned, not a compromise. Sometimes, the best skies for family photos come with chances of storms in the forecast, especially here in NC!

A: For outdoor sessions, fall is by far the most popular time of year — and those spots typically fill up by late August. If you have a specific date or season in mind, I'd recommend reaching out sooner rather than later. Studio sessions are available year-round and tend to have more flexibility. No matter when you're reading this, it's never too early to reach out — we'll find something that works.

A: I'm based in Greensboro and photograph families throughout the Triad — including High Point, Winston-Salem, Kernersville, and surrounding areas. I also travel across North Carolina for family sessions, from the mountains to the coast. In the past year alone I've photographed families in the Triangle, Asheville, Blowing Rock, and Ocean Isle Beach. Studio sessions are always available at Revolution Mill. Travel fees may apply for sessions outside the Greensboro area.
