I get asked all the time about Christmas Tree Farm mini sessions. And this session shows all the reasons why I DON’T do Christmas Tree Farm minis. You just can’t get photos like these in 5 minutes!
We started out the session shooting in the rows of Christmas trees, which I love because it got us that fun holiday vibe of a family wandering around together picking out this year’s Christmas tree.
But then as our daylight started to fade a bit, I saw the twinkling lights and the fire pit over by the buildings of the farm’s Christmas store. And I immediately knew we could make magic there. As much as I love all the Christmas trees, this part of the session honestly turned out to be my favorite! The cozy vibes and the connection between this sweet family are really special. Don’t you just love it?!?!
The Samples family made such great Christmas memories at Homestead Pine Tree Farm for their Christmas trees farm family session this year! And to cap it off, the lovely owners there generously gave free sugar cookies to the kids afterwards. What a treat!
