I had the most fun with Amanda and little Jack recently and wanted to share more from their gorgeous mommy and me session!
Jack was tired from long day of fun at Grandmas and they were on the drive back home to Chicago but had a stop off in West Lafayette for their session with me. Amanda had no idea how the session would go with her little guy, who was totally done for the day (you know how 3 year-olds can be at the end of a fun day). When they got out of the car though, we hit it off and started exploring and just began to have a grand time together laughing, playing, and making memories.
Afterwards, Amanda shared that our session completely turned around their evening and they had such a fun time. Jack even said after they left, “I like Miss Kelly”. THAT melted my heart!
I think what is so special about these photos is that raising little ones can be SO HARD sometimes. Seriously, 3 is not an easy age, but when you look at these photos, you are reminded how much you love your little guy and it puts everything in perspective again! When you have those hard days, those tantrums, those moments that you are like, seriously you are screaming over the wrong color spoon… and then you see your photos on the wall. It makes everything right again. Perspective shift. Yes, it’s hard at times… but LOVE is all so worth it.
You wear your heart outside your body after you have kiddos and it hurts so bad sometimes… but it is oh so good. That is how love works.
That’s what I want to capture and savor for you. Love. Connection. Emotion. Feeling. All things real, genuine and authentic.
