There’s something truly magical about capturing wildflower family photos in the midst of a blooming wildflower field!
Last spring, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the sweet Treadway family in a sea of larkspur. As you can see, the golden hour light was absolutely perfect! (That warm glow in all the photos is what I am after in every single session.)
After first speaking with Kassidy and planning her family’s wildflower family photos at Dogwood Farms in Belews Creek (just northwest of Greensboro, NC)!, I knew we were going to create something special.
Wildflower fields are a photographer’s dream. And this field of Purple Rocket Larkspur was no different! The vibrant indigo, purple, and white hues provide a gorgeous backdrop for wildflower family photos.
But honestly, the magic is in the people, not just the scenery. The way this family interacted with each other was pure, genuine love. Just look at their photos below; their connection was amazing! So many smiles, kisses, and honestly just perfect moments of sweet snuggles and connection!! Their daughter was a full of life and curiosity as she explored the field.
And Kassidy, who was just glowing as an expecting mother, looked absolutely stunning in her floral dress (which, by the way, is from Fillyboo and is just one of the many dresses I have available for clients to borrow in my client closet).
As with every family session, it was a tremendous joy and privilege to capture these precious moments for the Treadways. If you’re dreaming of your own wildflower family session in Greensboro, let’s chat!
Each type of wildflower has its own unique blooming season, so timing is key. Whether it’s in a field of sunflowers, poppies, or wildflowers like larkspur, I’d love to help you capture sweet moments of love and connection for your family.
