As a Greensboro senior photographer, one of my favorite things about working with high school seniors is helping them tell their story through their portraits. Senior year is such a defining time—a bridge between who they’ve been and who they’re becoming. And senior photos? They should reflect that.
This post features Quentin’s senior session — a standout because of how he brought so much of his personality to every part of it. Scroll to the bottom to see more photos from his session!

Bring What You Love
Whether it’s an instrument, a sports jersey, or even your favorite books, incorporating the things you love makes your senior photos more meaningful. I always encourage seniors here in Greensboro to think about what they want to remember about this season.
- Do you want to showcase your talent or hobby?
- Are you into street style or soft sunsets?
- Want to include your mom, your dog, or your car?
Let’s make it happen.
In Quentin’s session, we mixed it up with urban textures—a fire escape, peeling paint, graffiti/mural in an alley, and a distressed green door—paired with golden-hour shots in a peaceful field. He even brought his mom in for a few photos at the end (and trust me, those always end up being favorites).

Variety + Personality = A Perfect Session
Every session I plan here in Greensboro is personalized to the senior. That means:
- Location variety: urban + nature
- Outfit variety: formal + casual
- Real moments: not just poses, but personality
I want seniors (and their parents) to look at their gallery and think, “This is so them.”
If you’re planning a senior session and want it to feel personal, thoughtful, and fun—let’s chat about it! As your Greensboro senior photographer, I’d love to help you create a set of images that truly tells your story.
