Four years. That’s what was on the line when Mia showed up to her Wake Forest graduation session — four years of early mornings, late nights, friendships that’ll last forever, and one seriously hard-earned diploma. And honestly? These photos say it all.
Mia’s session was a solo celebration through and through — just her, the WFU campus she called home, and that perfect late-day light that only shows up when the timing is exactly right. We made our way through some of the most iconic spots on campus, and every single location felt personal to the chapter she’s closing.
Wait Chapel
There’s a reason every Wake Forest grad ends up at Wait Chapel — it’s iconic, it’s stunning, and it is the backdrop of so many WFU memories. We spent a good chunk of our session here, working the colonnade, the plaza, and that wide open view of the Quad stretching out behind her. Mia in her white dress with the chapel glowing in the golden hour light? One of those shots I’ll keep in my portfolio for a long time.

That smile says everything. Four years in the making.
The Quad
From the chapel, we moved out onto the Quad — that wide, gorgeous stretch of green that is basically the heartbeat of campus. The late afternoon light was streaming through the trees, and Mia was completely in her element. These are the shots that feel the most like her — relaxed, laughing, soaking in every last second of a place she’s called home for four years.

This one makes me happy every time I look at it.
The Stone Arch
We wrapped the session at the Wake Forest Stone Arch — and honestly, it was the perfect way to end. There’s something about standing under that arch with “Wake Forest University” carved above you that just makes everything feel official. She walked away from there a WFU graduate, and these photos are proof.

Draping her gown over one shoulder while she stood in front of that arch? So effortlessly cool.
Mia — congratulations, girl. What an incredible thing to celebrate!
If you’re a Wake Forest senior looking to capture this milestone, I would love to be your photographer. These sessions are one of my favorites to shoot — the campus is gorgeous, the energy is electric, and there’s nothing quite like celebrating four years of hard work on the exact ground where it all happened.
