Katy was super excited for a snowy maternity session and guess what, we haven’t had a flake of snow all month! I was watching the forecast and send her a text sharing my concerns that if we waited much longer, she might go into labor and we’d miss her maternity session!
I promised her that we would still have incredibly beautiful photos even if there wasn’t any snow on the ground but that I wanted to wait for a sunny day, which takes a while in Indiana because we have a sunny day once every two weeks! Ha!
We lucked out on a balmy 45 degree day with sun, so we scheduled her hair and makeup and started first with a few intimate shots in the studio and then moved outdoors for sunset!
Katy and Connor had such sweet chemistry and were totally naturals in front of the camera. It was such an honor to capture these special photos of this beautiful time in their lives as they eagerly await their little boy’s arrival in just a few weeks!
I am so excited for his newborn session and capturing all the photos of them holding him in their arms next month!
