I loved spending time with Hannah and AJ at IU Arnett Hospital this past week as they welcomed their sweet little Grace into their arms. I’m so so moved every time I have the honor and privilege of entering into a hospital room of someone I have never met and who has also just birthed a baby, to capture and photograph these first moments. I LOVE to see the smiles and excitement on the faces of new parents as they seek to comfort and connect with their new little ones. It is seriously the best and just gives me the goose bumps thinking about it.
In addition, I usually get to sit down and see how breastfeeding is going and offer any tips or advice as a La Leche League leader and a breastfeeding mother myself. I remember those early days and how challenging breastfeeding was for me and I hope to offer back the same support and encouragement I received from others to these new mothers.
Those first photos of your new little one are some of the most important of all time and a Fresh 48 session captures just that… all things new and fresh!
