Hi there and welcome to the site! I’m so glad you found me and can’t wait to introduce myself. 

Since I was a little girl, I have loved taking photos. I remember my first camera in elementary school and the crazy amount of random photos I took at Disney. As I grew older though, photography became a way of capturing moments and memories of those nearest and dearest to me.

For more than 10 years, I have enjoyed photographing families, babies, children and have realized that we are all the same… our family, loved ones and friends are the most important treasures in our lives. Having favorite photos of these loved ones are some of our most valued possessions! This past year, I have felt led to turn this passion into something more substantial and launched Kelly McPhail Photography in September 2018. 

Can I tell you what was the biggest motivator that finally launched me into business? A little girl named Mackenzie. My dear friend LeeAnn called me up in early August and asked me to take family photos before their 6 month-old daughter Mackenzie’s open heart surgery. Teary-eyed she shared that she wanted to have the photos in case Mackenzie didn’t make it through the surgery. After their super fun photoshoot, LeeAnn looked over the pictures and expressed how meaningful it was to have these photos and would cherish them forever. We both got pretty emotional at that point realizing the fragility of life and the significance of capturing moments with our loved ones. It was then that I decided it was time to pursue this dream of mine and bless others through photography.
