And for this mama, who’s recently been walking through some health challenges, these photos are more than spring portraits. They’re about presence. If you’ve never visited Dewberry Farm during tulip season, it’s a must. The rows of vibrant blooms, the soft golden light, and the quiet charm of the Kernersville countryside—it’s a dream location for full-length family sessions.

Timing a tulip bloom can feel like chasing magic—it’s quick, fleeting, and completely weather-dependent. But we got so lucky. These blooms were at their absolute peak, and the colors were just unreal. That said, the flowers ended up being the backdrop, not the story.
